Beit Halochem Canada welcomed 38 bar and bat mitzvah aged Israeli children of disabled veterans from Beit Halochem Israel. They came to Canada in July for summer camp and touring in Toronto and Niagara Falls. Peaceful, yet vibrant, the camp environment allowed the Israeli children to relax, away from the pressures of their lives at home. Everyone involved in this program, including the four disabled Israeli chaperones accompanying the children, were volunteers.
