Beit Halochem members visit Shadi Ibrahim and offer support.

A delegation of the Zahal Disabled Veterans Organization (Beit Halochem) visit and extend support to Shadi Ibrahim, the veteran wounded in the car-ramming attack in the South Hebron hills on May 14.

Shadi Ibrahim, severely injured in a car-ramming attack a few weeks ago near the Negohot settlement in the southern Hebron hills, met at Tel Hashomer hospital with a delegation from the Zahal Disabled Veterans Organization, led by Koby Yitzchak, Chairman of the ZDVO Central District office.

The delegation included disabled veterans Yisrael Kompler, member of the ZDVO Tel Aviv District Office committee and head of the ZDVO Ra’anana branch, and Nir Sadeh, both of whom have had a leg amputated.

The visitors reassured Shadi and made it clear that from now on, the ZDVO, the only organization legally responsible for representing disabled veterans, stands by his side and will help him in every possible way.

Shadi thanked them for their visit: “It strengthens me that a lot of people come to visit me. I am fine, strong, and with God’s help, I will be released quickly.”

Disabled veterans who visited Shadi were moved by the encounter and explained to him that despite the serious injuries, he will resume his activities and return to a full and normal life.

At the end of the visit, Yitzchak told Shadi: “You will go back to be active; you will acquire a profession – the Zahal Disabled Veterans Organization is here for you. We will help you with anything you need.”
