Earlier this summer, Beit Halochem awarded 75 sports scholarships to athletes who excel in their sport, as well as to coaches for their specialized, dedicated training. The Beit Halochem competitors include those who are blind, amputees, wheelchair users, or have suffered brain injuries.

At the moving ceremony held at Beit Halochem Tel Aviv, these men and women, injured in the line of duty, displayed their great determination, perseverance, and hard work. These traits contribute significantly to their rehabilitation and illustrate the victory of spirit over adversity.

Beit Halochem supports its athletes every step of the way. The organization guides and encourages them to make the most of their post-injury lives and – in some cases, newly discovered – skills. A number of competitors have been victorious at the Paralympics.

Their achievements would not be possible without the generous support of our donors, all of whom should take pride in their role in these athletes’ success.

Kol Hakavod to all these scholarship recipients!
