Beit Halochem Tel Aviv: Beit Halochem Tel Aviv recently completed the installation of a new electronic target system at its state-of-the-art Shooting Gallery. The laser-based target system is considered the most advanced Olympic range of its kind in the world. It collects data on the shots made by each individual shooter. The shooter sees his results in real time on the screen beside him allowing him to make immediate adjustments.
Beit Halochem Jerusalem: Thirty-five members of Beit Halochem Jerusalem participated in all categories of the 2016 Jerusalem Marathon. There were 15 hand bike riders, 6 full marathon runners, 4 half marathon runners, 3 10K runners and 7 family runners. Many other disabled veterans from around Israel also participated.
Beit Halochem Haifa: At the end of January, Beit Halochem Haifa’s Triathlon Team took part in the Annual Israman International Competition in Eilat. The 14 members ran as singles and in groups, and made good time in this exceptionally difficult event. Additionally, The Beit Halochem Haifa Paralympic Sonar Team has qualified for the 2016 Rio de Janeiro Paralympic Games.
Beit Halochem Beer Sheva: Beer Sheva’s Hand Bike Team will be taking part in the Jezre’el Valley Marathon in May. The Backgammon Team made it to the semi-finals of the national workplace league, and the Billiards Team is now in first place for groups at the same league.
