For five days, over 100 Jewish and non-Jewish Canadians rode alongside 70 disabled veterans during the 9th annual Courage in Motion bike ride from Jerusalem to Eilat.

During the 400-kilometer journey that took place from October 30 to November 3, they visited heritage sites and army bases, and got a chance to bond with the veterans and hear moving stories of courage, resilience and their struggles with rehabilitation. Canadian participants – the largest group to date – also raised $750,000, which will be donated to Beit Halochem wounded veterans’ centres in Israel.
